MEMBERSHIP

Regular members of Association of social workers of Serbia can be all social workers from Republic of Serbia. Status of a member is acquired by signing the "member form", where information given is entering the Membership Register manaitaned by secretary of Association. A statute of Association reserves statuses such as honorary and guest members as well as donorship member status.

Rights and obligations of regular members are:

• To participate in work of Association
• By their practice and behaviour give a full contribution to affirmation of profession of social worker
• To choose and be choosen in ruling bodies and organs of Association
• To obey law, Statute, general documents of Association as well as Ethical codex of professional social workers
• To recieve prifessional aid and professional interests protection from Association
• To be informed of work of Association
• To pay annual membership fee

Membership in Association expires:
• If a member decides to leave Association at his own free will
• By deletion from register
• By exclusion from membership (Statute articles 10-15)

Association of social workers of Serbia at this moment has over 600 members - social workers. Number of members is constantly increasing.

Membership for 2007. is 600,00 dinars.
Membership can be paid at Gyro account of Association: 205-100603-46 at Commercial bank, Belgrade. It can be paid personally, or organization or company where you work can pay it for you.

Having in mind that forthcoming programme activities demand material resources, we would kindly ask you to pay membership fee in shortest period possibile.
